The Art Brut Museum in Lausanne (Switzerland) this year (2011) will have an exposition about  Oreste Fernando Nannetti, who is known because of an enormeous graffiti he carved into the plaster of an outside wall of the psychiatric institution in Volterra, Italy, where he was hospitalized between 1958 and 1973.

The exposition entitled Nanneti - 'colonel astral'   will start May 13 and last untill October 30.

In various ways Nannetti's creation will be displayed and explained. There are some twenty large scale photographs (by Pier Nello Manoni) from 1979 and four others (by Mario del Curto) from 2005, fragments of the wall, copied with a special technique and other material.

During the exposition a film will be shown: I graffiti della mente. N.O.F.4 Moro Secco Spinaceo (Italy 2002, 20', french and english subtitled) made by Pier Nello Manoni and Erika Manoni.

A special feature is the catalogue, which has a 7 m long unfoldable photographic panorama of Nannnetti's creation, a lot of pictures, texts by a number of well known experts and a DVD of the Manoni movie.
